The ROBERT THOMAS Group (RTG) specializes in Real Estate lease auditing for commercial tenants in office buildings, medical buildings, retail locations such as malls and shopping centers, manufacturing facilities, warehouses, and industrial buildings.
Founded in 1993, RTG has reviewed thousands of leases representing tenants in more than 10,000,000 square feet throughout the United States and Canada. We have successfully collected refunds for an assortment of prestigious clients ranging from very large publicly-held multinational companies with enormous lease portfolios to small private firms with a single location.

BOB WIESNER - A co-founder of RTG, Bob has almost 25 years of experience in lease auditing on behalf of tenants. Prior to RTG, Bob held positions including Director of Strategic Planning and Assistant to the Chairman & CEO of a Fortune 500 firm. Bob has an MBA in Finance from Northwestern University where he was an FC Austin Scholar (top 5%) and has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from The Johns Hopkins University.
DAN MEADOWS, CPA - Since joining RTG fifteen years ago, Dan has successfully managed lease audit campaigns for large office tenants throughout the USA and Canada. Prior to joining RTG, Dan held positions with a public accounting firm, as an accounting manager for $1 Billion in fixed assets for an insurance company, and as a controller of a commercial property management firm. Dan earned a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Northern Illinois University.
JIM LAWLER, CPA - Jim joined RTG in 2002 and has lead audits of a variety of office and retail properties. Prior to joining RETG, Jim's extensive background in real estate included 4 years as an accounting manager for a major developer, 7 years as Director of Financial Services for a large shopping center owner, 3 years as a Senior Portfolio Manager for a property management firm, plus 8 years as a consultant to office-oriented REITs and landlords in real estate acquisitions and financial operations. Jim has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Loyola University.
KIM MEADOWS, ATTORNEY - Kim has provided legal support to RTG's audit teams and corporate staff since joining the firm in 2003. Prior to RTG, Kim had 15 years corporate transactional legal experience including 9 years dedicated to real estate leasing and investments. Kim represented both landlords and tenants for large corporate clients with locations across the USA plus some international locations. Kim has a Bachelor of Arts from Northern Illinois University, a Juris Doctor from Loyola University Chicago School of Law and is a member of the American Bar Association.
